I started making fondant cakes in containers during the past Raya season when I first introduced the INARA box - fruit cake with fondant decoration. With this recent order, I just couldn’t fulfill the fruit cake order.

Hence, my client wanted the PinkEllies butter vanilla cake instead. I chose the colours on my florals based on the colour theme in my box and I’m quite happy with the completed cakes. I accented the flowers with edible colour dusting as I wanted the flowers to pop out. I do hope I made the recipients happy with these cakes.

Each of the PinkEllies kebaya boxes are handmade meticulously by me. I don’t compromise on the quality of my work, hence it does take time to complete each box.

The magnetic boxes are also customised by our trusted supplier. Thus, each kebaya box is made with much love, thought and care.

Besides the songket, our client may also request a different kind of fabric for the kebaya template and we do have these boxes in 2 sizes. The content of these boxes are also curated based on every client’s theme or request.

The PinkEllies Signature Kebaya Songket boxes.

An order from a very good friend from Wisma Putra came in last week for my kebaya boxes. I was a bit apprehensive about taking this order as I don’t have all my materials in stock. All my gift sets are curated and made as and when but with ample time frame. With a week to work on such an order, I was a bit afraid.

But a challenge I shall take upon myself and I managed to contact all my suppliers for the boxes, bottles, containers etc. I had to bake & make two items in the box - the PinkEllies tart nenas and butter cake with fondant.

Alhamdulillah, I completed everything on time and managed to get all these boxes collected before the time frame allocated. Thank you dear Taz for giving PinkEllies to showcase these lovely boxes to your distinguished international guests.

SpringFling cake with floral theme for dear Rosie.

This cake was ordered more than a month ago, so I made sure I did a good job on it. Rosie requested an old fashioned vanilla butter cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. This cake is quite decadent as I used loads of quality butter for the cake and frosting.

As for the fondant florals I tried my best to design the cake following the invitation card theme. Fondant on buttercream in our humid weather is quite a challenge but I’m glad it turned out well.

Post Raya order for KENANGA & MAYANG

For the MAYANG bag, I added dodol as one of the items packed instead of the usual serunding ayam or sambal garing. Paired the dodol with the simpul kasih and makmur.

As for the KENANGA sets I also added the kapit peanut almond and the kapit chocolate almond mixed between the gift sets. Paired this with either the semperit cheese, coconut crunchies or bangkit.

I guess with this order, the Raya 2026 gift sets by PinkEllies is finally completed 🙏🏻
