There are so many reasons to be passionate about properties. For this particular one, datin herself talked passionately about the project directly to the team and openly invited feedback. Was thinking about affordable property while on the train and found this really good article by starproperty.

Make sure you balance your investment portfolio with liquid assets. While it is great to have real estate, if it generates negative income -- it is still a drain on your cashflow. It's illiquid nature also makes it harder to realize your profit, especially if the buyers don't want to buy at the price you're selling for. Always make sure you have enough cash on hand to hold onto your property in case you have no tenants to avoid a forced sell.

This is primarily due to the fact that we have a growing young adult population and this is driving the demand for property, which in turn will continue to place upward pressure on prices."
