This is information that is briefly related to Kuih Lapis:
📌Kuih lapis is a traditional cake of the Baba Nyonya community who have lived here since the time of the Malacca Malay Sultanate.
This Kuih Lapis is a cake made from rice flour, steamed with pink color (from roses) and white color (the white color of rice).

Did you know, there are Kek Lapis Sarawak in Sarawak? 🤔
It must be weird right? There is! But it is not yet known throughout Malaysia and can only be found online.😁

📌What's more interesting, moon layer cake is a combination of Chinese and Sarawak traditions. This is the brainchild of Maria Ngui Sai Moi, who is 43 years old and has mixed Chinese and Bidayuh blood.
