Hi folks, this week we will be taking a few extra days off for a well-deserved rest for the team and also to carry out some maintenance and upgrades.

Closed:
Monday (26/1) - Thursday (29/1)

and back on Friday (30/1)
with coffee service 7.30am to 12noon.

Also, we will be changing our hours during the CNY period. Do take note.

Folks! We’re closed Christmas and New Year as it falls on our off day, Thursday.

Folks, Ome is closed 13-30th October for our usual break before the year end.

We have been releasing our Ome Selects which are coffees we have selected ourselves to feature and roast by our friends and we hope you enjoy drinking as much as we do! Other roasters will also be featured as we are and always will be a multi-roaster specialty coffee bar.

Back on 31st October to continue serving you, take care and see you then!

Hey folks, we will be closed from 28th July to 3rd August and back on 4th August Monday.

The whole team will be in KL for the National Comps. Our baristas Abbie Lim and James Ang are competing the Malaysian Brewer’s Cup and Malaysian Barista Championships respectively for a chance to represent Malaysia next year.

The whole team has been preparing hard with friends from all over, and this is it... Wish us luck and we will be back the next week!

See you then or on our Live Stream when they compete!

Hey folks, we are now open half day on Wednesdays and only serving coffee/no cakes from 0730-1200.

So, our current hours :

Monday and Tuesday : 0730-1500
Wednesday : 0730-1200 (coffee only)
Rest Thursday
Friday : 0730-1200 (coffee only)
Saturday and Sunday : 0730-1600

So you still can grab coffee in the morning with us on Wednesday or some beans while you’re at it but you will have to visit Saturday to Tuesday to get our in-house bakes.

Hey folks, we will be closed 6-12th April for a company trip + competition trip for the Brewer's Cup Prelims in Kuantan this week.

Folks, we are closed this week from 7th-13th March for our usual spring break.

Friday 14th will be coffee only from 0730-1200 before usual service of both cakes and coffee resume on the 15th.

Also, we will be changing our weekday hours to 730-3pm for March and April. Weekends we will be open as usual from 730-4pm.

Seven years ago, we set out to create ‘No Place Like Ome’—a space where great coffee, bakes we love, and a strong community of coffee lovers, baristas, and other F&B professionals come together, all while striving to be more sustainable.

As baristas ourselves, we also wanted to create our dream workplace—a home away from home. (Our baristas get two days off a week, paid breaks, above-market wages, and a 13th-month bonus.)

While getting here has its ups and downs, earlier this week we were awarded No.56 in the world by recognising our efforts building this community.

We dedicate our win specifically to Malaysian baristas—from small independent operations like ours to larger companies—who form the backbone of the F&B industry. You fuel our chefs, bakers, bartenders, and fellow baristas, while keeping our cities and neighborhoods running with great coffee.

This award is also for our regulars who keep our doors open (and closed! 😉), our roasters sourcing and roasting amazing coffee, our team consistently nailing it day in and day out and suppliers who ensure our base ingredients are of the best quality.

Malaysia’s strong presence on the list, with .of.ono at #9 and at #73, is a testament to the incredible work being done in our coffee and cafe scene. Alongside our local traditional food and the growing fine dining and bar scene, we can all continue to strive and grow together.

Closed from Tuesday 12th to 21st of November for our year-end break... Folks, do drop by this Monday before our break!

Our team will be heading to KL for the annual Hario Coffee Fest (check out booth where some of our brewers will be there) and also we have a pop-up in KL where Abbie will be brewing some of our select filters in a cafe/roastery/bakery to be announced real soon!

Folks, we are off for our annual team retreat from Monday to Wednesday (28th to 30th Oct). Do drop by this weekend before we take off!

So, this Tuesday is our seventh year of running Ome! Matsuo Basho’s quote: “Every day is a journey, and the journey itself is home.”, best captures our seventh year of operations. Thanks everyone near and far for this journey and for being part of it, always. Here are some of our highlights of the year!

To celebrate, we will be doing a few things, Tuesday 20th, we will be extending our hours until 10pm and serving natties and coffee cocktails and more. We might bring back some classic cakes too and a small surprise when you order a filter coffee. Also, we will be serving rare coffees from our frozen reserve (Janson Lot 107, Eugenioides, Ecuador COEs and more) and you can enjoy these on batch or as an upgraded option for free, just for one day from 0730-2200.

After this long day, we will be taking an extra day off on Wednesday, 21st.

But it’s not over yet! Friday afternoon on the 23rd, we will have do a Cupping and Bar Takeover; There’s a public cupping from 1230-1400, open to all, and Jin and Ving will be making coffees from 1400 to 1600! Do drop by then to try the new harvest of Honduran coffees and try some filters/espressos from them.
