Hi, I’m Dheviya, the soul behind Baked by Diya.
My journey wasn't always sweet like the cakes I bake. I once dreamed of being a civil engineer, but in 2021, life took a painful turn. I lost my way, my confidence, and spent 3 years in silence, hiding from the world.
But baking was always my quiet passion a little light in my darkest days. I started sharing cakes with loved ones, never thinking it could be more… until my cousin asked me to bake her husband's first birthday cake order on 3rd October 2024. I was terrified, but I said yes.
That “yes” became a turning point.
Today, Baked by Diya is my healing, my hope, and my second chance. Every slice I make is filled with love and strength from a story that almost broke me.
