A little reminder, with all due respect. 🤍
Lately, I’ve noticed an increasing number of “potential clients” enquiring about CakeSpot’s pricing, dimensions, methods and other very specific details, only for it to become rather apparent that the intention isn’t necessarily to place an order.
Honestly, what are we doing?
There is room for everyone in this industry. We can all build our own craft, develop our own style and focus on perfecting what we do best, rather than spending precious time watching, measuring and replicating what someone else is doing.
Time spent trying to find out what another baker is doing could be time spent improving your own skills, experimenting, creating and growing. And trust me, my time is precious too. 🤍
And to my fellow Muslims, a gentle reminder, ofc for myself first
Ar-Razzāq is Allah, the Ultimate Provider.
What Allah has written for you will never pass you by, and what is destined for someone else will never become yours.
“Indeed, Allah is the Best of providers.”
— Qur’an 22:58
So let’s leave the rat race behind. There is no need to compete over what Allah has already apportioned.
May Allah put barakah in each person’s rizq, business, skills and efforts, and may we learn to celebrate one another’s success without feeling the need to imitate or undermine it. Ameen. 🤲🏻
Protect your energy. Perfect your craft. Mind your own lane.
What is written for you is yours🤍
Jummah Mubarak ❤️
