🎂 From First Cake to Forever 💍

The story behind Tafet…

The first cake I ever baked was for my boyfriend — we were going to celebrate his birthday for the first time together. I remember the late night baking and decorating with my mum sitting next to me (until around 2a.m). I was nervous and had no ideo of what I was doing. Just a recipe and lots of hope.

But it was the beginning of a new journey I never expected. I discovered a new passion!

Looking back at how far I have come — from uneven layers and amateur piping to custom designs and perfected flavors. I taught myself to bake from scratch, one cake at a time. I am still far from being a professional but I like the joy I bring to people everytime I deliver a cake.

Years (and many cakes) later, I just baked another birthday cake… for the same guy, who is now my husband. ❤️

From that first wobble of a cake to the polished creations I make today, baking has become such a huge part of my life — and so has he.

Sharing with you, my dearest followers, that very first cake 😅 and the latest one… Well! They have one thing in common… they were both made with love ❤️
