You’d think that as an actor you’d have the luxury of being able to express yourself in any way you please. Not so much. The level of expression is limited by the person / era you have to portray. Acting comes with a package of commitments and sacrifices. Such commitments sometimes makes me say no to things I love doing as a teenager. Sacrifices are a lot, one of which happened to me yesterday.
I have been growing my hair for the past year to help out cancer patients. Sadly yesterday due to an upcoming foreign film I have in a few weeks, I had to cut my hair to a 1940's style. My hair was not long enough to donate it though. So hopefully will have to try that again shortly. It's definitely not a style I would want to wear for my teens in 2021, but once acting is your passion you give up anything.
This long post is not to bluff in any way about my acting and about my hair, but to raise awareness of bullying . Today at school I have been called names and made fun of, but Thank God I'm strong enough to take criticism. I wish who ever is reading this post and has ever bullied others in any way, will just stop and realize that not everyone is strong enough to be called names of all sorts etc. So please think before you speak and put yourself in the receiving end . LET'S STOP BULLYING ONCE AND FOR ALL.
Please share to raise awareness. Thank You.
