A little creation I made for Cake Date at The Shoppes, City of Dreams, organized by Sugar Daddy
This cake was a beautiful blend of Sri Lankan tradition and my own creativity. The middle layer features our beloved Sri Lankan Pol Cake, while the top and bottom layers are vanilla cake with scraped coconut and coconut milk added into the batter for a lovely texture and flavour.
Finished with pan roasted desiccated coconut and decorated with delicate handmade sugar flower orchids.
