The days are longer now and there seems to be many cake orders I cancel than I take up. That's life I am told.

For her thirty whatever birthday (I mean who keeps a track of these things) I made this four layer ribbon cake with our signature white chocolate buttercream. The life like and maybe even a little too cute than her topper is from the absolutely talented

Thrilled to be back on the battleground and that too with this special piece.

As far as simple and elegant cakes go, we go along

Baking after so long and this beauty is so worth the return, baked for a lovin' friend this is a classic chocolate layered with not one, not two but three dark chocolate ganache layers and lathered generously with our signature white chocolate buttercream.

Happy 37 years on earth to Dilshan

When called me to place the order one thing she rightfully mentioned is that Dilshan takes his chocolate seriously. I instantly knew for a person who takes chocolate seriously we cannot make do with the supermarket aisle chocolates.

So we went all aboard with 55% dark chocolate ganache and dark chocolate sponge. Well, working with that much chocolate isn't easy but we managed to achieve the perfect dark chocolate sponge "dark as ever" as told by Minidi.

So, this cake has two flavour profiles, the powerful one as you read so far is dark chocolate and flavor undertones are, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and bitterness from chocolate itself. A perfect marriage of flavors.

Thank you Minidi for this ultimate challenge and space to come out with my creativity.

And the magnificent topper as always is from .event.corp.sl . I mean look at those colors.

As far as wedding cakes go, we believe simplicity is the key.
Well, we actually feel any cake should be simple to speak the length of the flavor but weddings are a little distinct.

The exact color and whole look makes up for the elegance of the whole setup.

Raveen and Chathurika got married last week at ShangriLa Colombo and we proudly baked this cake for the lovely couple. The cake is vanilla 4 layers elegantly dressed in white chocolate vanilla buttercream adorned with babies breath and roses.

The one from when married the love of her life 💗

We had the ultimate honor of baking the minimalist cake if Chapa's dreams when she made it legal with Yasasvi this last Monday. She was very particular about how it should look and I am so happy to achieve that specific look she dreamed her cake would look like

Cake is our vanilla sponge dressed in the famous white chocolate buttercream, with added roses and foliage to match the overall theme.

Wishing Chapa and Yasasvi long and amazing years of love and thanking both of them for the trust placed on us.

Baked this glorious thing for the main character of 's home team, a few days ago.

A basic ribbon cake all adorned with our white chocolate buttercream, a flavor profile that never fails, ever.

Baking for the team

Vanilla cupcakes topped with whipped white chocolate ganache, with indigo nonpareils

Fluffy white chocolate automatically complimented the soft vanilla cake and this was a big hit. Always a pleasure to bake for them

And just like that our baby in the school van gang turned 30

It was nothing short of surreal to watch grow into the beautiful and often mischievous woman she has made as her identity.

Nothing but immense love to this super lady and a special mention to the similarly bright and cutie for always and always placing trust in me for her cakes.

She's another star I got to watch becoming the spark she is right from the childhood days.

Also a special mention to Himanga at .event.corp.sl for always accommodating my insane topper requests.

Here's to Kushi, the avid F.R.I.E.N.D.S lover, wildlife ju**ie, cutest baby mama and the girl who will always be the littlest one in our eyes.
