Sri Lankan based food photographer Dihan De Silva’s passion was realized 5 years ago and began his creative journey
doing his first shoot at Coco Veranda. Working on multinational brands like Unilever, Nestle and Dominos put him on the map of food photography and has made him one of the most sought after photographers in Sri Lanka. Incorporating his own unique style and art direction he has work
ed with renowned chefs to create mouth watering images of dishes that preserve the freshness and vibrance of the food and captivate the viewer. He has worked with Bavarian, COi, and Flamingo House to name a few which are some of the leading restaurants in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He has also worked together with advertising agencies such as JWT Sri Lanka, Grant McCann Sri Lanka, Leo Burnett, LOWE LDB and Ashraff Associates on various projects and ad campaigns. Up to date his biggest project was completing close to 200 recipes for Unilever Knorr Recipe Book. “Cooking with LOVE” which was their 150th Anniversary book in 2013. Known for his hard work and perseverance Dihan strives to make his clients the main priority while trying to achieve his creative goals and contributing his talents towards a flawless end product. Contributing to the success of the customer is a priority so I always set the goal to be creative and work hard to satisfy all customers. I really hope to have a chance to cooperate and contribute the talent into the development of great food photography.
