For those of us who love to entertain friends and family in the warmth of our homes, charcuterie is the perfect ooh-la-la appetizer. While SO trendy these days, it allows for stylish and relaxed entertaining and is a great addition to personal party menus.
We fill our appetizer platters with cold cured meats, cheeses, baguette slices and crackers, condiments, relishes, cornichons and other pickled vegetables.

For the blue china inspired mini food buffet, we created a range of bite size and mini versions of food—homemade prawn cocktail, fresh tomato bruschetta, vegetable soup shooters with garlic toast, apple and raisin salad in lettuce cups, bite size watermelon and feta salad, chicken gizzard tagine, fried moussaka balls, pan seared fish with tartare sauce, mini Thai red curry chicken sliders, mini individual lasagne, mini chicken kathi rolls, and Singaporean street noodles in mini take-a-way boxes.

Together with shooters and mini cocktails, the mini food buffet served as a spectacular centrepiece that got all the guests up and mingling.
