Then she said, “He saw the birthday cake you delivered for his sister, now he wants one too.”
So now she’s using cake as motivation:
“Wash dishes, earn a cake.”
I laughed so hard. But hey, whatever works.

During the April holiday, a teenage girl reached out to me asking about my cakes that she saw on Tiktok. She said she wanted to surprise her mum for her birthday, but she didn’t have enough money yet.
"I’ll save up during midterm break and order," she told me. Honestly, I was already smiling at that message.

Fast forward to June 28th true to her word, she came back, placed her order, and asked if we could keep it simple but pretty. She picked a vanilla cake, red flowers, and gold spheres.

I delivered it to their place and let me tell you... the mum was so touched she got teary. She couldn’t believe her daughter had planned it all by herself.
Sometimes, it’s not even about how big the cake is. It’s the heart behind it.
