Yesterday, on my way home, my mask kept slipping down. It was so uncomfortable and I could not wait to get home and take it off. Gazing out of the window at all the masked people outside, hurrying to get home before curfew, it dawned on me just how much I have taken for granted. For 39 years, I have been able to breathe God's free air without a mask. I have shaken hands and hugged my loved ones, gathered with family, friends, colleagues, even strangers without fear of catching or passing on an infection. I have gone about the business of living and loving without much of the care that is on the world today. Yesterday, in a moment, I saw just how much we have been blessed with and how much we have taken for granted. Today I am very, very grateful for the gift of life.
In the midst of everything that is going on around us, there is always something to give thanks for. What are you grateful for today? I'd love to hear your heart.. β₯οΈ
