しばらくバタバタが続きまして、ようやく、久々の情報更新です^_^;
odangoシリーズ第二弾、木のストールピンができました！　木の部分はヘアゴムと同じでも、アクセサリーピンを付けると上品さがグンと増しました。
これから少しずつ暑さが和らいで、薄めのストールを巻きつける時に、ワンポイントにするときっと素敵です。

Finally, after a long time, here is an update.

The second item in the “odango“ series, the wooden stole pin, is now available! The tree part is the same as the hair clip, but with the accessory pin, it looks much more elegant.
I am sure it will look great as a point of reference when you wrap a thin scarf around your body.

カバザクラのiPhoneケースのご注文。久々に木材を仕入れて制作しました。同じ樹種でも材料によって木目も色合いも様々、新しい材料を切り出し・削り出すのはいつもワクワク・ドキドキです。今回は「やや赤目で少し特徴的な木目」をご希望とのことで、仕上げた結果は白木と赤目のマーブル模様になりました。気に入っていただけることを願っています・・・！

Got an order for a birch iPhone case. It's been a while since I've purchased wood material for an order. It's always exciting to cut and carve out a new material. In this case, the customer wanted a "slightly reddish grain with a bit of character," and the result was a marble pattern of white wood and red grain. I hope he’ll like it ...!

私事ながら、？歳の誕生日を迎えました。そしてパートナーからのサプライズプレゼント、栗の木のスプーンとメープルのカップ！　前々から「栗の端材とかで何か食器を作れない？」「木のスプーンがほしいなぁ」と言っていたのを覚えてくれていたんですね。
カップはソーサーと一体型？　製作者曰く、「テーブルに置いたときに安定するし、端にスプーンを置けるから」だそうです。スタッキングできないので一般受けはしないでしょう…でも、歳を取って手元が震えるようになっても安心して使えそうです。

I celebrated my birthday, and I got a surprise present from my partner, a chestnut wooden spoon and a maple wooden cup!　I've been asking him for a long time, "Can't you make some kind of tableware out of chestnut scraps or something?" He remembered that.
The cup is integrated with the saucer.　According to the producer, it is because "it is stable when placed on the table and you can put a spoon on the edge." It's not stackable, so it won't be popular with the general public...but it will be safe to use when I get old and my fingers start to shake.

2022年、新しい年が始まりました。長寿にあやかり、まずは屋久杉の木の名刺入れをご紹介します。
蓋を回して閉じるときの音と感覚は樹種によって微妙に異なり、屋久杉の場合はとても優しい手触りで、音も「シャッ」とどことなく優しく聞こえます。本当は開閉する度に感じられる長い年月を経て生まれた独特の香りもお伝えしたいのですが、こればかりは動画や言葉ではお伝えしきれずもどかしい思いです。

The year 2022, a new year has begun. In honor of longevity, I would like to start with a business card holder made of Yakusugi cedar wood.
The sound and feeling when you turn the lid to close it differs slightly depending on the species of wood. Tn the case of Yakusugi cedar, it is very gentle to the touch and the sound is also somewhat gentle, "shuffling." In fact, I would like to tell you about the unique scent of the cedar that has been created over a long period of time that you can feel every time you open and close the lid, but this is something that cannot be conveyed through video or words.

卵のようなマラカス？ガラガラ？
知り合いの出産祝いに作ってほしいと、友人からのリクエストに応えて制作してみました。かじっても舐めても安全な材料で出来ています。
卵のカタチは癒しのカタチ。大人でも手にすると心が温まります。カシャカシャ響く音もまたいい感じです。
親子一緒に卵を囲んでいる様子を想像すると、なんだかこちらまで嬉しくなってきました。

Egg-like maracas? Rattles?
I made these in response to a request from a friend who wanted me to make them for a baby shower gift for someone she knew. It's made of materials that are safe to bite and lick.
The shape of an egg is a form of healing. Even for adults, it warms the heart to hold it. The crinkling sound is also a nice touch.
When I imagine a parent and child sitting around an egg together, it makes me happy.

森のたてあなマルシェ 本日開催されました。素敵な手作りの品々、個性的なやきもの、美味しいパンやランチプレート、人形劇まで。静かな山里の奥深く、心もカラダも満たされる優しい秋の一日です。
"Mori no Tatehana Marche" at Koyacho, Wakayama.
A variety of wonderful handmade goods, unique pottery, delicious bread, lunch plates, and even a puppet show. Deep in a quiet mountain village, it's a gentle autumn day that fill our hearts and bodies.
