Happy Sunday everyone!!! Today, I was fancying some fruit scones, and when I say fruit I mean just raisins because currants don’t seem to exist out here 🙃 I also tried something a little different to spread on it; ✨Homemade Cinnamon Butter ✨ I’ve only ever had cinnamon butter once at Texas Roadhouse, and loved it. I feel like this is just perfect for when you want something a little different to your regular spread of choice, and so fitting for this time of year!

Hello all 🫶🏻 Just fancied posting a lil’ throwback on this sunny Monday ☀️This was a strawberry and pistachio 2-tiered Pavlova; a meringue based desert that actually originated in New Zealand, but is very much a favourite in Britain. I made it for my Mums Birthday, instead of a regular Birthday cake just to change it up a bit. The meringue was pistachio flavoured, filled with perfectly whipped vanilla cream and topped with a homemade strawberry syrup 🍓 The great thing about these are that they are just as spectacular as an elaborate cake, but completely gluten free!

I am happy to make Pavlovas to order, they are so customisable! Drop me a message if you want something a little different for a Birthday, or just as a treat, I won’t judge! 😉 (prices unique to every order).

Cinnamon rolls 🤤

I’ve tried and tested many recipes in the hope of finding one that reminds me of Cinnabon. As a confessed Cinnabon addict, I feel like this is the closest I have gotten so far.

✨ Chelsea Buns ✨

A sticky, fruity, aromatic bun; filled with raisins and mixed spice, topped with a sweet glaze.

The original recipes date back to the early 1700’s, so they are older than the founding of the states 😂 a true British classic 🇬🇧
