I get asked that question a lot when people see my flower inspired cupcake creations. 💐⁣
⁣
If you've ever wondered the same, the truth is...making floral cupcakes that look realistic is NOT easy. ⁣
⁣
In fact, just figuring out a buttercream recipe that would work for what I wanted to do, could stand up to the high temperatures in Jamaica AND that tasted great took more than 3 months of trial and error. 😅⁣

Lucky for me...persistence paid off. And even more thankfully, I get to use everything I've learned along the way to make incredible edible art like this every day. 😄⁣

Happy Emancipendence Week! 🇯🇲

I join hands and hearts in spirit with you, your family, and all Jamaicans around the world as we continue to strive to elevate our nation and move towards a future that holds peace, progress and prosperity for us all. 🙏🏽

I was commissioned to make these cookies as a surprise treat for our Sunshine Girls that they would enjoy upon their arrival in South Africa for the Netball World Cup. 🏐🌏🏆

To say I am grateful and humbled would be an understatement. ❤️

They, along with our Reggae Girls have made our people so very proud. And these victories couldn't have come at a better time for us to celebrate! 🎉🎉🎉

Big up yuself Jamaica and Jamaicans....we large!! 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

Grateful for new beginnings! ✨️

I've been MIA for a hot minute due to some very unfortunate "technical difficulties" on my end (check out my stories for a picture worth a thousand words 😆).

Despite the slight hiccup, I've continued to serve, love and grow in the background. 🙏🏽

Happy Monday lovelies!

SO many wonderful things have been happening in and around my life that I could just burst with happiness! 😁

My heart is full and overflowing with gratitude to the Most High and to you for choosing to be here with me. 🙏🏽

I've been inspired and motivated to share my joy and abundance with you, and after thinking about it for a long time...I've been shown the way. 💡

Over the next few days I'll share my aha moment and explain what's in it for you going forward. 😊

My second most important Sweet Blooms missson to date! ❤

So, I've been MIA for the past week (you already know how I roll sometimes), but it's for the best reason ever. 💯

If you follow my stories, I recently dropped a hint about a super secret project I'd be working on...🤫

It was my best friends wedding! 🎊

After whirlwind week of helping her get stuff done, making 130 custom favour boxes, 390 mini desserts AND making the cake she was determined I should make...I'm exhausted to say the least. 🥱

But it was worth every minute, all the sleep lost and every ounce of the labour of love it was making it happen. 🥰

My friends had the most perfect day and I am SO grateful for the opportunity to contribute as their Maid of Honor and cake lady. 🎂

I was so busy on Sunday that I didn't really have time to take pics, but here's one of me and my counterpart for the day (the best man), as well as a closeup of the favour box and one of the three desserts that went into each one...a custom cookie. 🎁

I'll share more pics from the day and of the cake in my stories when I get them! 📸

As usual, I'd like to thank you for your patience, especially those who reached out over the weekend and just got a reply yesterday. 🙏🏽

Now....it's back to our regularly scheduled program! 😁
