Well this is a bit surreal… Little Bolo is in the Bailiwick Express 🥹😂📰

I got to chat all about how this little business started, growing up around Portuguese food and baking, why Mum’s bolo de bolacha means so much to me, and how I’ve tried to keep Portuguese flavours and recipes at the heart of Little Bolo 🇵🇹🤍

When I started baking from my kitchen, I definitely didn’t imagine I’d be doing newspaper interviews about it 😂

I’m very proud of how far Little Bolo has come and incredibly grateful to everyone who has ordered a cake, shared a post, recommended me to someone or supported one of my slightly chaotic ideas along the way 🥹

And obviously a massive thank you to Mr little bolo (Simon), because as much as I hate admitting it, I genuinely couldn’t have done all of this without you 😂🤍

The menu for our 5th September Pop-Up is officially here and I’m SO excited about this one 🤍

We’ve got some Little Bolo favourites making a comeback, along with a few new flavours that I’ve been dying to add to the menu — and I have a feeling some of these are going to go very quickly 😂

Simple, but perfect 🍓🤍

A classic Victoria sponge will always be a winner — especially when it’s packed with strawberries 👀

Carrot cake will forever have my heart 🥕🤍

This one was made with my favourite carrot cake recipe, filled with cream cheese filling and finished with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream.

And of course… the little carrots had to make an appearance 🥹😂

Honestly one of those cakes that doesn’t need loads going on because the flavour does all the work 🤤

I know my page has been very pop-up heavy lately 😂 but I promise I’ve still been busy behind the scenes making all your celebration cakes too!

This little construction-themed cake was made for Zeke’s 2nd birthday 🏗️💛

I absolutely love getting to make cakes around your little ones’ favourite things and honestly, the Oreo “dirt” might be one of my favourite details 😂

WE’RE BACK 🩷🧁

After such an amazing first pop-up, we’re doing it all over again!

Our 2nd Little Bolo Pop-Up Shop will be on Saturday 5th September, in the same location — West’s Centre, by the Bronze Cows 📍

We’ve made a couple of little changes this time around, including a slightly later 10am start, just to make sure everything is fully stocked, ready to go and running as smoothly as possible from the moment we open 🩷

You can expect:

🍰 Cake slices
🤎 LOTS of Bolo de Bolacha

Plus a few little changes to the menu based on what you loved most last time 👀

⏰ 10am–3pm — or until we sell out!

O 2.º Pop-Up da Little Bolo será no sábado, dia 5 de setembro, no mesmo local — West’s Centre, junto às vacas de bronze 📍

Desta vez fizemos algumas pequenas alterações, incluindo começar um bocadinho mais tarde, às 10h, para termos a certeza de que está tudo preparado, bem abastecido e que tudo corre da melhor forma desde o momento em que abrimos 🩷
