You’ll now find Jersey Jacks cookies & flapjack’s waiting for you in our brand-new honesty box, perfect for grabbing a little taste of Jersey before you board your ferry 🛳️

And because we’re thinking of our neighbours across the drink, we’ve even installed the instructions in French. Oui oui! 🇫🇷 Le Honey Hut..

We’ll be here for the season, or until the boats stop boating. 🛶

Our flapjacks & cookies start with something pretty special, real Jersey honey, straight from the hive. 🍯

A big part of what we’re about is supporting our local beekeepers and celebrating the incredible work that goes into producing Jersey honey.

From hive → honey → bakery → Jersey Jacks. 🐝➡️🍯➡️🍪

And yes… we may be slightly obsessed with bees. 😂

🐝 One Honey Hut just wasn’t enough…

After the incredible response to our first honesty box, we’ve been quietly working on something exciting behind the scenes.

From a few sheets of plywood to the bright yellow Honey Huts you see today, it’s been brilliant watching these come to life. A huge thank you to Marcus De Freitas for bringing the vision to reality, we couldn’t be happier with how they’ve turned out! 👏

More Honey Huts are coming soon, meaning it’ll be even easier to pick up your favourite Jersey Jacks, giant cookies and soon local Jersey honey.

We’re keeping the new locations under wraps for now… 🤫

🚧 BIGGER HOME, BUSIER BEES 🐝

Our girls have officially outgrown their first brood box… talk about a housing crisis! 😅

Today we added a second brood box to give the queen more room to lay eggs and the colony more space to grow. A healthy hive can contain 50,000–70,000 bees, so when every frame is covered wall-to-wall with workers, it’s time for an upgrade.

The new box is full of foundation (the bees’ blueprint for building comb), so over the coming weeks they’ll be busy creating thousands of perfectly engineered wax cells before the queen moves upstairs to expand the family.

It’s amazing to think that every spoonful of honey starts with a strong, healthy colony and thousands of tiny workers doing what they do best. 🐝

Safe to say… business is buzzing. 😉
