Thank you for the love, care, dedication and passion you bring to Mini Mes every single day.

You are the superheroes who help shape little minds, build confidence, nurture dreams and make every child feel safe, valued and loved. 🌟

💜💚 WE'RE HIRING AT MINI MES!💚💜

It's a bittersweet one for our little Mini Mes family! 🥹❤️

Two of our most precious team members are heading off travelling the world together after Christmas! 🌍

Whilst we're so excited for their next adventure, they will certainly be leaving some very big shoes to fill!

So, we're on the hunt for someone equally as wonderful to join our close-knit team! 🥰

We're looking for a qualified Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Officer who shares our passion for providing the very best care and early learning experiences for our little ones aged 0–3 years. 💕

Although our girls aren't leaving until after Christmas, we'd love for someone to join us sooner, allowing plenty of time for a thorough handover, building those all-important bonds with our babies and ensuring a smooth continuation of the care they know and love. ❤️

We're not just looking to fill a position, but to welcome someone who will become a special part of our Mini Mes family! 💜

Our opening hours

Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–3:30pm

Friday: 7:30am–1:00pm

*Working hours are negotiable on a shift basis within these times.*

🍁Our Autumn Tree is Coming to Life! 🍁

Call me biased, but we think our autumn tree is looking beautiful! 🥰 The children have loved helping to create their own autumnal display with Amanda, and we can’t wait for the big reveal when it’s finished! 🌳🍁

This morning we went on an autumn walk, collecting leaves and talking about their shapes, colours, smells and sounds. We even had the very exciting surprise of spotting two baby squirrels! 🐿️🐿️😍

Back at nursery, the children added stickers to their tree, practising turn-taking, hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, communication and teamwork, all while singing, chatting and having fun.

The pride on their faces as they showed me their beautiful creation was just priceless. 🥹

You can go on every course and speak to every professional, and one message comes through again and again: the importance of high levels of involvement and engagement.

But in Early Years, we also know that this doesn’t just happen automatically. We are working with very young children. We welcome new children who are still building relationships and finding their sense of security. There are transitions, tiredness and mealtimes; children get hungry and can become dysregulated. There are lots of moments throughout a nursery day when engagement can be difficult.

So walking into my nursery this morning genuinely gave me so much joy.

Every practitioner was down at the children’s level. Talking. Playing. Listening. Modelling language. Reading together. Following the children’s interests and joining them in their play.

And everywhere I looked, I saw children who were engaged.

Children role-playing and caring for babies. Children exploring resources together. Children sharing books with an adult. Children absorbed in their play and comfortable enough to explore their environment.
Most importantly, I saw happy children who clearly felt safe, secure and connected to the adults around them. There wasn’t one child on the outside of what was happening.

That doesn’t come from an activity that has been perfectly planned or from filling in a piece of paperwork. It comes from practitioners who are present. Adults who notice children, get down alongside them, respond to them and understand that the relationship comes first.

Sometimes you walk into a room and you can feel good practice before anyone needs to explain it to you.

This morning was one of those mornings.

And standing there watching it all, I remembered exactly why I do what I do. Why, through all the difficult times, I never gave up.

Because this is what it was all for.

Happy children. Safe children. Most of all a team who genuinely care. ❤️

‘Meet our gorgeous team’

Today, we want to take a moment to recognise and celebrate our incredible team.

Every single day, they bring kindness, patience, dedication, and endless energy to ensure the children in our care are safe, happy, loved, and thriving. They go above and beyond, often putting the needs of others before their own, and we couldn’t be prouder of them.

This week, with the exceptionally high temperatures, they have truly outdone themselves. From adapting routines and creating cool, comfortable environments to keeping spirits high and ensuring every child remained safe and happy, they have shown remarkable professionalism and care.

Thank you for everything you do, not just during challenging times like these, but every single day.
