Instructions
1. Bake the Cakes:
Prepare three sponge cakes in different sizes (large base, medium middle, small top).
Let them cool completely before decorating.
2. Prepare the Layers:
Level the cakes with a serrated knife.
Brush each layer with simple syrup.
Fill with buttercream or whipped cream and stack the tiers securely.
3. Carve the Shape (Optional):
Lightly carve the sides of the top two tiers to create a flowing dress silhouette.
4. Crumb Coat:
Spread a thin layer of buttercream around the entire cake to seal crumbs.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
5. Cover with Fondant:
Roll out fondant into large sheets and drape each tier, smoothing gently.
