Today's poor state of Indian Women can certainly be Traced to our Hindu Smriti's. in particular. The fact that remarraige is prohibited in this book and it does not speak about Divorce and remarraige is one of the main reasons behind the sufferings of Indian Single Mothers

The poor state of affair of Single mother. A single mother in Bihar was r***d and her 5 year old son was killed to avoid evidences. They threw both Mother and son into a river, unfortunately the kid died but the women was alive to tell her story.

Message received - Dear Admin, This is my story and want to share this in your forum.
I'm a Divorcee who has come back from a Bad relationship. Essentially my husband and his in laws took money from my father in law and had solved all their Debts and then they had kicked me out of the house.
They had filed a Divorce case which I had contested. During the due course of this legal battle my father passed away due to mental agony of seeing me in my current state.
Using their muscle and money power they were able to win the case. And also my husband had already married some one and had kept it secret. It seems even that female is a widow.
Now I'm taking care of my child with a meagre maintenance. We have gone for an appeal. One good thing is that I'm in a good job. My father ensured that I prepare for government examinations and crack one of them before he passed away.
Today my only support system is my job. Yet even in my job i'm vindicated upon if i speak to some men co workers.
This mindset has to change in this nation.
