Postcard Chronicles

Postcard Chronicles A place where travel, art, food & adventures collide I believe there is no one size fit all path to a happy and blissful life.

Postcard Chronicles is a place for people who want to travel young, who want to explore the world without having to risk their bread and butter. As much as I long to live a hippy life, I also happen to love my job and I think life is about making choices ; pursuing our passions, figuring out what we want, realising what makes us happy and then finding a realistic way to make it happen. I couldn’t

imagine myself do a round-the-world trip – but I am certain I will see the world, one place at a time. Postcard Chronicles is a collection of my own travel stories, my travel sketches and a list of good eats that fill my soul. Travel this road with me to know some of my best travel hacks on how to travel easier and make it more fun.

Hearty & Wholesome 3 months that went by! It was a perfect mix of work, travel, celebrations and sickness, ofcourse! Traveled to 2 places that had been on my list for a very long time and absolutely fell in love with them both.

Hoping and manifesting that the last leg of this year goes well and ends in a good high 😉

This isn’t just food. It’s a whole mood. This was a part of a seven course meal, a full and full South Indian fusion meal I recently had at Kari Theory.
Starting with Parupu saru (lentil soup), we had muruku cheese sandwich as amuse bouche, followed it up with starters and main course from different parts of south India. Ended it with black rice (kavuni arisi) jaggery halwa. I personally loved it cause not a lot of people know about kavuni arisi dishes. Kavuni arisi is popular in karaikudi, the chettinadu region and i was pleasantly surprised when they brought this in for dessert. Absolutely loved it!
If you’re someone who enjoys South Indian food, give this place a shot.

I had this wonderful opportunity to host an art session, where people could slow down, reconnect with themselves, and simply create. A space without pressure to perform or perfect. Just presence, gentle pauses, and colours flowing without judgment.
People letting colours flow onto the canvas, some hesitant at first, but slowly letting go of ‘getting it right’. Watching people lose themselves in the process, seeing smiles as they discovered the joy of just creating, felt like magic.
Art is never about perfection. It’s about expression. About letting ourselves be human, messy, and alive. This retreat gave me a chance to focus on my body and mind.

April and May kept me super busy..in a good way! Work, freelance gigs, learning and balancing life with all of this, travel definitely took a back seat.

Highlight was how I managed studying through all the madness. Though I signed up for the joy of learning, I forgot it came with exam-induced chaos. 😰
Still, wouldn’t trade the experience — even the sweaty palms. Took me back to my good ol college days!

June seems pretty alright so far! Hoping I can get some travel done this month. 🤞

How have you guys been???

Amritsar wasn’t just a trip — it felt like a warm, buttery hug from Punjab.

From waking up to the stillness of the Golden Temple to stuffing our faces with the crispiest kulchas (no regrets), every moment felt like a little postcard I wanted to save forever. We rode tractors through mustard fields, chugged lassis thick enough to qualify as meals, cheered at the Wagah Border like our lives depended on it, and volunteered in langar with strangers which humbled me in ways I never thought was possible.

It was chaotic, comforting, loud, soulful — so much more than I expected.

Swipe through our journey, and tell me — which postcard did you like the most?

March was a mix of memories, mayhem, and a mini escape to Amritsar.

The month began on a high with time spent with close friends—the kind of catch-ups that fill your cup (and your camera roll). Just when I thought it was all good vibes only… boom, my WhatsApp got hacked. Yep, full-blown identity theft. If you got strange messages from “me,” no you didn’t!

Thankfully, things took a golden turn—literally—with a soulful trip to Amritsar. Standing in silence at the Golden Temple, eating my body weight in kulchas, and soaking in the warmth of Punjab’s hospitality was everything I didn’t know I needed.

From digital disasters to divine getaways, March had it all!! 😁😁😁

Sharing a glimpse of what the beginning of the year looked like!
January felt like a warm hug of beautiful memories! I had a good mix of travel, reading and spending time with family and friends. The one thing I was most excited about was joining the strength training classes, for someone who’s only workout was yoga, this was a new exciting skill that I wanted to pick up this year, let’s hope I stick to it.

How did January go for you? Anything exciting, special, fun?? I would love to know 🤗😁
