Lotus biscuits cake for young lady on her communion day, also my last cake I was making. Cost of ingredients and getting harder to find what I need for cakes makes me realise it’s time to let go.

Christmas baking season can begin 🎄🎅🏻🤶👩‍🍳🍪 Linzer cookies are the most delicious cookies during Xmas time. They are originated from Austria and made with hazelnut flour, almond flour or walnut flour it depend on your preferences. I have my recipe with almond flour and didn’t try to change it yet.

Choux pastry with creme patisserie, topped with white chocolate ganache and caramel chocolate ganache ..had to make them two days in the row it bring memories from home. At home (Slovakia) it is used for all celebrations from christening to weddings.

It is nice to have break from making cakes only 😌 this cookies are used for celebrations like christening, confirmation, wedding but mostly for Christmas time. These are my family favourite and I don’t remember year I would not make them. It contain lot of butter, almond flour, nuts, caramel and each and one of them is little bit different ❤️
