Get 💙………• We are reaching out with a heavy heart. This is not something I ever wanted to post or thought we’d find ourselves in this position. But at this moment our options are extremely small. 

Our 12-year-old son Adam has rapidly developed end-stage kidney disease and now urgently needs a kidney transplant.

Adam is a funny, busy kid who loves his sport, and we are determined to do everything we can to help him get back to the life he loves.

We are asking people across Ireland to consider learning about living kidney donation. It’s a carefully managed process through the transplant services here in Beaumont, with full medical screening and support for donors.

We completely understand this is a big and deeply personal decision—there is no expectation, just hope🙏🏻

Please consider sharing this post. The more people who see it, the better chance we have of finding a match for Adam. He is blood type O so can only receive from blood type O. We are exploring all avenues but time is of the essence

Over the last month we have been working in behind the scenes creating a new concept allowing us to offer a little bit more than coffee & treats…….and we are delighted to let you all know we are finally ready to launch Gourmet@thevillagebarista 🥐🥪

We have a small but tasty menu, and we are looking forward to hearing your feedback over the next few days………as we navigate through as best a service as possible 🙏🏻

Toasties ( Classic, Chicken Pesto & Cajun Chicken )

We are on the lookout for an experienced part time barista to join our team. We are only looking for a barista who is already trained, has worked in a busy environment and has a natural flare for excellent customer service. You must have the ability to embrace working outdoors.

This position will mainly consist of weekends, bank holidays and midweek cover during school holiday seasons, so will not necessarily suit if a person has weekly weekend commitments as we are open every weekend.

You will be responsible for:
• Serving high quality drinks
• Delivering excellent customer service, especially when under pressure
• A keen eye for detail and an interest in updating marketing boards
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace along with thriving whilst busy 🔥
