🍂 A little update from Annie’s Cakes & Bakes 🍂

Now that the schools are back and everyone is settling into the usual routine, we wanted to share a little update for the months ahead. ❤️

As Annie heads into her Leaving Cert year, we’re going to have to limit the number of celebration cakes we can take on.

🎂 For now, we’ll be limiting cakes to just 3 per weekend.

We hate saying no, so please, please book your cake as far in advance as possible! 🙏 Our September dates are already nearly full.

There will still be availability for tray bakes and other weekend treats, and we’ll always do our best to accommodate you. We will assess how this works over the coming months but for now, this is what works best for us.

We hope you all had a gorgeous summer and are ready for the return to routine! 🍎📚

We LOVE this time of year — all the gorgeous seasonal produce, autumn flavours and, of course, getting ready for Christmas baking! 🎄✨

And that’s a wrap on our Summer Camps 2026! ☀️🧁🎨

What a brilliant summer of camps we’ve had! A huge thank you to Cornafean GAA, Lacken GAA and Crosserlough GAA for welcoming us into your clubs. We’ve absolutely loved spending time with all the children.

It has been amazing watching their creativity come to life — from decorating cupcakes with marshmallows, sprinkles and sweets, to creating fabulous artwork with our amazing Cáit. 🎨✨ Cáit Masterson always brings art to another level, giving the kids the freedom to use their imagination while creating something they can proudly bring home.

And finally, to all the amazing children who came through our doors this summer — thank you! Every child has their own unique little personality, and we feel so lucky to get to know them, encourage them and have fun with them. You should be so proud of your wonderful kids. 🥰

We’re already looking forward to the next time we get to see you all!

A sincere thank you to the parish of Denn for welcoming us into the Parochial House yesterday as we helped provide afternoon tea refreshments for the fond farewell to Father Donal after his many years of dedicated service.

It was a privilege to be part of such a special occasion and to see so many people stop by to wish him well.

Our afternoon tea menu included:

• Homemade apple squares 🍏
• Sponge cake squares with fresh cream and strawberries 🍓
• Meringues topped with fresh cream and fresh fruit 🍇
• Mini lemon meringue tarts 🍋
• Freshly baked scones served with cream and jam 🫖
• Madeira cake finished with buttercream frosting 🍰

We hope everyone enjoyed the treats!

Thank you once again for inviting us to be part of such a memorable day. We wish Father Donal every happiness and success as he begins this next chapter, and we thank him for all the wonderful work he has done over the years.

We won’t be restocking so once they’re gone, they’re gone 😜
