Our Vertical Climb Training took us to Blocks 18D and 18A in Holland Drive, where we had fantastic views of Holland Village and the bustling construction at Ghim Moh Ascent BTO flats along the iconic Rail Corridor 🚉.

Big shoutout to Ayu for fueling us with her delicious brownies—perfect energy for the climb! 🍫💪

We powered through 40 levels x 4 times up and 3 times down—a true endurance test!

Exploring the history of this area—Buona Vista, Ghim Moh, and Holland Village—adds even more to our training grounds, bringing an extra layer of nostalgia to our sessions.

We had an incredible session for our Vertical Climb Training with a stunning drone view of the partially cleared Dover Forest at sunset. 🌳✨

Unfortunately, about two-thirds of Dover Forest has been cleared for the construction of new BTO flats, leaving only one-third of Dover Forest West intact. It’s bittersweet to witness this change in our beloved green space.

A huge shoutout to Ayu for bringing those delicious brownies—definitely a sweet treat after our climb! 😋 And let’s give a round of applause to Samy, who impressively completed 8 ascents at Level 38 in just 1.5 hours—what a superhero climber! 🤩💪

Pulau Dayang Adventure: Beaches, Whales, and Breathtaking Views! ( )

Just got back from an epic 4-day adventure in Mersing and Pulau Dayang! ️ This island paradise had it all:

Mersing Delights: Explored the town's beaches, museums, and delicious food (including durian!).
Island Hopping: Hopped between Pulau Dayang and Pulau Aur, where we visited a charming village, snorkeled in crystal-clear waters (underwater pics coming soon!), and even saw the elusive "Blue Tears" phenomenon at night! ✨
Pulau Dayang's Wonders: Hiked to the breathtaking Pulau Dayang Viewpoint (worth the "Killer for Climbers" climb!), stumbled upon a pile of whale bones (Omura whales, apparently!), and enjoyed a magical BBQ dinner with stargazing!

This trip was truly unforgettable! If you're looking for an island escape filled with adventure, nature, and relaxation, Pulau Dayang should be on your bucket list!

Pulau Dayang Adventure: Whale Bones, Killer Hikes, Snorkeling and BBQ! 🐋🏝️

Started the morning with a hike up to Pulau Dayang Viewpoint. The views were absolutely breathtaking, but the real surprise? Our visit to a pile of whale bones on a massive rock! They belong to the elusive Omura whale — a species that’s super rare to spot.

The climb to the top wasn’t easy, especially this one section I nicknamed “KFC” (Killer for Climbers or Killing Fitness Centre). If you've ever hiked Mount Ophir, you know the drill—it’s tough, but the views make it totally worth it!

After snapping some pics at the top, we headed out for some snorkeling around a tiny island off Pulau Dayang and Pulau Aur. Hands down, the best snorkeling here! The water was so clear, and the coral and fish were incredibly vibrant. 🐠🌈

We even took a boat trip around Pulau Dayang to check out the other side of the island.

Finished off the day with an amazing BBQ dinner, some cold beers, and some stargazing. Pulau Dayang has definitely earned a spot on my list of must-visit places. 🌊✨

Sat on the Markers of LantauPeak and Sunset Peak - the #2 & #3 highest mountains in Hong Kong. 🇭🇰

The highlight of our HK Hiking! Po Pin Chau 破邊洲📌, UNESCO site in Hong Kong 🇭🇰. 140 million years ago, this place now Hong Kong has volcanoes! 😉

I covered MacLehose Section 1 to 5, about 50km of the whole 100km of the longest hiking trail in Hong Kong.

Solo hiked the MacLehose Section 1 & 2, my hiking buddies took cab and joined me at Po Pin Chau only! 😅

Started at the MacLehose Trail start point, walked to High Island Reservoir West Dam 萬宜水庫西壩, and followed the trail till the nice beach and amazing sunset/moonrise at Sai Wan 西灣.

The detour to the top of Po Pin Chau took about 1.5 hours, but completely worth the extra effort.

Completed MacLehose Section 1 & 2, visted UNESCO site, Po Pin Chau 破邊洲, along the way. 😀
