It’s been a while since I shared kitchen tips😅
Forgive me oo…I’ve been busy with orders from all you amazing clients💚👩🏽‍🍳

But today, let’s talk about something very important:

Why your soup spoils quickly.

A friend once complained that her soup keeps spoiling after just a short time😩

After asking her a few questions, I quickly realised some small kitchen habits were causing it.

What makes soup spoil faster:
❌️Covering or storing the soup while it is still very hot
❌️Using wet or dirty spoons
❌️Not reheating properly before storing again
❌️Leaving the soup outside too long
❌️Constantly opening and closing the container unnecessarily

What you should do instead:
✅️Allow soup to cool thoroughly before storing. Otherwise trapped heat and moisture can encourage faster spoilage

✅️Use clean, dry spoons when serving

✅️Reheat properly before returning to storage

✅️Store in smaller portions if possible. This reduces constant reheating and contamination

✅️For maximum safety, keep extra portions frozen

✅️Keep your fridge temperature cold enough

Simple truth:
Sometimes food doesn’t spoil because of “bad luck”, it’s the small kitchen habits we ignore🤷🏾‍♀️
