My week so far!!!! A random array of baking wholesale orders, walking 10 miles (a win for the dodgy knee!!), being obsessed with the building works next to our kitchen, also being obsessed with my cat (cat parents I GET IT now!!), the craziest weather and being kitchen slave making 80 bottles of sauce for wedding favours. Oh and eating the best pork pie ever 😍

Back in the kitchen tomorrow after a lovely few days off!! Also, we’ll be back on the market this weekend… what do you guys want us to make??! Better get your requests in now that we’re on the countdown to the end of the market 💔

Unfortunately we will not be at the market this week, Friday 29th or Saturday 30th May. On Saturday we are attending the funeral of our dear friend Morgaine. (Yes, we are honoured to be making cake to celebrate her!!). Because of this we have decided to also have Friday off… everyone needs a break sometimes! We will be back at the market the following week all being well. And to all the people who keep asking what pop-ups we’ll be doing this year… well we have our first evening at Good Roots Friday 5th June so please please come and see us for some amazing toasties and cocktails!!

Did you see us in the Worcester news??!! (please don’t say anything about our ‘compo’ faces - he said we weren’t allowed to smile 🤣) We have loved our Fridays & Saturdays trading at Angel Place Market and have been hugely supported by local businesses and customers new and old (we love you guys!!). It would be a real shame for the market to come to an end. A city centre without a weekly market??? Madness!! Anyway, we hope you continue to support us and the other lovely traders at the market until its planned closure at the end of August xx

Very much improved Custard Cream cookie… featuring a big blob of custard ganache!! This stuff is delicious. We’re at the market tomorrow and Saturday so please come get yourselves a little bank holiday treat!! 💁🏻‍♀️

Spotlight on my mocha brownie 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 let me describe it for you… double choc chip brownie with a double shot of espresso ( of course!!), the top is white chocolate ganache with more espresso and a generous sprinkling of ground coffee. This one’s a bit of me!! Try it at tomorrow market!!

I took a screenshot of this recipe the other day and I HAD to try it out. Turned out sooo good! Really vanilla-y and if you like custard creams this is one for you!! I feel like I want to make them again but pipe custard inside but maybe I just like piping stuff inside of cookies 🤣🤣 just checked and the recipe is from thank you 🙏🏼 (Just watching myself in the video why do I have a million different expressions 🤣🙈)
