It has been a little while since I last shared some of my work, and there is a reason for that.
The number of cakes I create doesn't necessarily grow with time, but my knowledge certainly does. I continuously explore new techniques, materials and ways to add even more depth and detail to my work, because that matters enormously to me.
Even though this is not my everyday go-to style, I have been asked to create a few cakes featuring some non-edible decorations, but I always make sure that the overall look isn't only about them. At the same time, I absolutely love those priceless reactions when I point out an edible decoration that has completely fooled people, especially when it gets you arguing a little 😅
And lastly I must mention this. Over the past few weeks, I have also had the absolute privilege of creating some wonderful pieces to celebrate life's most special moments, including a beautiful wedding and even a celebration of beating cancer. The feedback I received was brilliant! Moments like these remind me why I love what I do and bring me a lot of pride 🙂
