Really enjoyed making this for a special customer who ordered this cake for her sister's 40th birthday.

The cake was just over 12" tall consisting of 8 cake layers. The first 4 layers were chocolate sponge with salted caramel filling and Swiss meringue buttercream frosting. The top 4 layers were vanilla chiffon sponge layers with jam and again SMBC frosting.

I purchased the line art face charm from a lady on Etsy but unfortunately couldn't find her on Instagram.

XL metal scraper has been a great addition to my baking tools πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

The cake consisted of 6 layers with a cake board in the middle to support the weight of the top layers. There we had three layers of delicious chocolate cake with salted caramel filling and, vanilla sponge with fresh cream, walnut, banana and toffee sauce fillings for the last three layers. πŸ˜‹

I love how it turned out at the end, with a hint of texture on the bottom, touches of gold leaf and a classy flower spray πŸ₯°

Dear beloved English football team, soon you will be competing on the world stage and fans across the globe will be watching. On Nov 21st, as you step on the pitch to play your counterparts, we ask you to show a gesture of solidarity with the people of Iran who are fighting for their freedom against the Islamic Republic. A regime that is by no means a representative of innocent Iranians. A regime that oppresses and bans women from football stadiums. A regime that killed the young and continues to persecute anyone who stands in its way, including minorities, children and students. A regime that stands by Putin's side as he unleashes brutality against innocent Ukrainians.

You are role models for millions of children around the world. Like all the great athletes that came before you, this is your opportunity to make history both on and off the pitch. It takes lots of patience, effort and love to make these detailed Rossett Ruffles...I had to over come so many challenges, I got emotional, and yes a few drops of tears too πŸ™ˆ, but once again I reminded myself that the key to success is to focus on goals, not obstacles...you only fail when you stop trying!
