I’m not big on trends or themes.
Everything I make is vegetarian 🌱 — wholesome and genuinely tasty.
I work hard. I plan ahead. I focus on what I’m building, not on what’s happening around me.
Despite this, Over the past few months, I’ve felt a shift in the atmosphere that I hadn’t experienced in my previous 18 years of VY. It’s been unnecessary and negative — and yes, noticeable. Others have seen it too. But it’s not something I engage with or feed into.
This past year has also brought something I never expected — online harassment, someone is stalking me!. It’s been upsetting and worrying. I have also been confronted with accusations while alone in my own bakery, and seeing thinly disguised posts circulating online does not help.
The good news is that with support and guidance, we are much closer to understanding who is behind the stalking. I won’t speculate, and I won’t retaliate.
What I will say is this: I’m incredibly grateful for the people who truly know me — my background, my family, the journey, the move, the hard decisions. Relocating has had its challenges, but it hasn’t changed how much I care about this place or the community I’m building here.
I stay in my lane.
And I’m really looking forward to the year ahead.
