New customer 🚨🚨🚨

Called us out today to replace their alternator and aux belt

2012 Audi A6 s-line estate

The job did not go to plan 🤦🏼‍♂️ some eagle eyes may notice what was wrong 😑 I didn’t realise what different till the new alternator was fitted and the belt went back on and it wouldn’t fit properly…

Pulley on the alternator was wrong 😑 back off it came to get returned tomorrow…

Upon further Inspection we found a faulty relay under the ecu causing the car to fire 🔥 but not stay running… the relay was getting hot and a few wiggles of the relay and it fired straight up , turned it off wouldn’t start again

So the customer still wants to go ahead with a new alternator along with the belt however they want us to change this relay as well provided we can get the part tomorrow
