Wow… what a day yesterday was ☀️

Yesterday was officially my busiest market since starting this little business and honestly I still can’t quite believe it. We had over 100 purchases throughout the day and I just want to say the biggest thank you to every single person who came by the stall, bought a cheesecake, stopped for a chat, recommended us to someone else or simply showed support ❤️

The weather could not have been more perfect and the atmosphere at the market was just lovely. It was so nice seeing so many familiar faces again and also meeting lots of new customers for the first time. One of my favourite parts of these markets is always having proper chats with people and yesterday was full of them.

A huge thank you as well to Independent Street, Wigan Artisan Market at The Cotton Works for the amazing work they do organising these events every month. The amount of work behind the scenes really shows and it honestly makes such a difference.

Also a very special thank you to my friend Monica who helped me at the market for the first time yesterday. I think many of you probably noticed how much smoother everything ran 😅 On really busy market days like yesterday, having an extra pair of hands makes such a huge difference and hopefully we can keep doing that when possible.

I really hope you all enjoyed your cakes 🧁

Just a little reminder that we will now be closed for the next 3 weeks and back to normal from the first week of June.

Good morning Wigan ☀️

We are already here setting up at The Cotton Works and the market starts at 11am today. We’ll be here until 4pm with lots and lots of cheesecake waiting for you 🤍

This week I had a helper in the kitchen so I’ve managed to bake more than ever 😅 And today Monica is here helping me at the stall too, so everything should run much smoother with less waiting time for everyone 🙌🏻

We’ve also got some new flavours this week and honestly the menu is looking VERY good 👀

Just finished baking and decorating all the cakes for tomorrow 😍

Hope to see lots of you at Wigan Artisan Market at The Cotton Works tomorrow. I’m bringing more cakes than ever because after this market I’ll be closed for the next 3 weeks 🤭

Thank you so much to everyone who came today to pick up slices from the spring menu. I really hope you enjoyed them as much as I loved making them. It was such a fun one in the kitchen and I always love seeing all the boxes heading out.

I love hearing your feedback, and if you tried the cakes this weekend I’d love to know which flavour was your favourite.

I’ll be back next Sunday at Wigan Artisan Market at The Cotton Works. It’s my only and final event this May as I’ll be closing for three weeks afterwards for my sister’s wedding.

I’ll have some extra help in the kitchen next week with the baking, so I should be able to bring a bit more stock along for market day. Hopefully that means a few more of you get a slice.
