After a few weeks of searching high & low for cake & bread suppliers who share our passion for high quality, hand made cakes & pastries... we've narrowed it down to a few finalists.

If you've missed our news from a previous post: we've decided to start outsourcing some baked goods, as our tiny kitchen cannot keep up with the demand... and neither can we, as humans.
This wasn't a decision that came lightly, but a result of months of pushing through illness & burnout.
We're hoping to continue providing excellent service & products whilst making space for us to take a small step back & recharge 🥹

Don't worry, our best selling items will still be available 😉

We're thrilled to try out the 1st batch that is hopefully coming tomorrow:

A little honest update from us...

When we started Howling Wolf, it was a tiny micro-bakery. Everything was baked by hand in our little kitchen, and we poured every spare hour into making it work.

Fast forward to today and we're serving hundreds of customers every week as a coffee shop, brunch spot, gift shop and bakery. It's something we're incredibly proud of, and it's only happened because of your support.

The truth is that we've reached a point where our kitchen can't physically keep up with demand. Alongside that, we've been navigating some ongoing health challenges and trying to find a more sustainable way of running the business without burning ourselves out.

After a lot of thought, we've decided to start bringing in some baked goods from carefully chosen suppliers who share our values and commitment to quality.

This doesn't mean we're stepping away from baking altogether. We'll still be making our signature favourites in-house (yes, the cinnamon rolls are staying!), but it does mean we can focus our energy where it matters most and continue growing Howling Wolf in a way that's sustainable for both the business and ourselves.

We've always tried to be honest with you, and this feels like the right thing to do. Thank you for supporting not just the café, but the people behind it too. ❤️

We've got a case of Sunday blues after the monumental day we had yesterday 🥺
It's been incredible seeing the community come together & help us raise such an incredible amount for Every Life Matters.
We've had some really great, raw conversations about mental health & the loss of loved ones, and it made realise how important places like our cafe are in the community.

We all crave connection & understanding, and providing a safe environment where people can meet & connect is a true honour.

Looking forward to what thd 4th year will bring to us ❤️

What an incredible day we had 💜
We can't thank enough Every single one of you for showing up & helping us raise this wonderful amount for !
We raised these funds on behalf of Ellie Blair Foundation.

We had 191 checks, but no doubt the amount of visitors was at least double!
It goes to show what strength there is in numbers.
If you ever feel like your contribution doesn't make a difference, we hope this will serve as a reminder that every little can mean something to someone else 💜
