So I’mmmm baaaack…well kinda…
I’m now in the UK!!

I’ve started baking again. This is my very first commissioned cake here in England. My neighbour Nicole placed this order.

It was very time consuming as I’m working with unfamiliar ingredients also being a bit rusty since I’ve been out of the cake game for AWHILE…

But I’m falling back in love. Loving my own little tribe of cake peeps and mostly… serving up something sweet for my awesome community.

We’ve started the process of getting my home cake studio approved and sorted. I will start with market research and see where it takes me.

So far everyone has liked what I’ve been giving out so I’m feeling super great about all the things !!

Hey FB Fam.
Soooo I’ve been towing around with an idea 💡.
Backstory - as I was learning how to decorate cakes I would get many request and would do them for basically the cost of ingredients since I was learning and it felt nice making cakes for kids that their parents couldn’t afford an expensive custom cake.

Which brings me to this.

For a low fee would you want to know birthday cake / speciality cake basics?

Would you want to know the secrets of doctoring a box cake so no matter your baking skills your cake WOULD ALWAYS TASTE GREAT?

Would you want MY secret recipes for buttercream and cake filling hacks?

Would you want to know and Learn a few decorating techniques that you could use for any type of cake ?

The thing is
I’m done making cakes as a career in the states.
I’m also wanting kids to be able to have a cute cake and I want to help moms, dads , family and friends be able to make their kids a cool cake on a budget.

This closed Facebook class would be a mini series of cake basics.

🧁Baking cake
🧁Making buttercreams and how to flavor them ( my recipes you get to keep)
🧁Stacking cake for perfect layers
🧁Finish product/ crumb coating and smooth buttercream secrets
🧁Cake decorating techniques you can do without expensive tools ( basic kitchen tools or things you can pick up at any Joanns or Michaels
🧁Design ideas with bonus LIVE class

For $25 you would be able to be in a cake baking/decorating mini series. With a Live class where you can ask questions and problem solve and answer any baking questions. I know it’s not much, but it would cover basic ingredients and eventually give me a little jump start money for my next project!

I’m in the process of closing a chapter of my life and it all makes sense to close it with in a small way giving back.

I’m also in the process of creating a sugar mommas e-book with my recipes from Sugar Mommas now Honeman Cakes. So YOU will be the first with a few secrets recipes and techniques that WONT be in the e-book.

So ... anyone interested? First class starts October first with a bonus LIVE Halloween cake class that you get to chose out of 3 designs!

ALL THESE CLASSES ARE FOR BEGINNERS and for people who don’t think they can’t bake.

I know I haven’t posted in the LONGEST time....
BUT GUESS WHAT?!

GOT
MARRIED!!

And I actually made my own wedding g cake... I know
I’m cray.... but it was absolutely great designing it with my darling.
He is from England and a MAJOR Liverpool FC fan so it just made sense to have it apart of our cake!
Loved how it turned out!
We did a high tea themed and it was great! A major thank you to Erin Glenn from Power for creating our little perfect day!

It was wonderful and only made possible by our amazing friends and for that we are soooo grateful for!

So yeah....
that’s been happening in my life...

With the markets coming to an end and some other huge things beginning ... I have limited the markets and starting in October I will post a menu every two weeks and that will be the only times the product will be available!
