As you all may know by now, the first Royal Wedding in 7 years is taking place tomorrow, Saturday the 19th May with coverage commencing early in the morning.

In honour of the occasion, we at Mellifont Abbey are holding a Viewing Party in our gorgeous Dining Room, followed by a Royal Wedding themed dinner and singalong for all of our residents, and any family and friends who wish to attend.

We hope to see you there & look forward to the wonderful occasion!

Good morning all.

On Thursday 31st May from 2:00PM until 4:00PM we are holding a Teddy Bear Garden Party for all of our residents, family and friends, and staff.

We would love to see you all there and are looking forward to an afternoon of tea, coffee, cake, and plenty of activities to get involved in!

Let's hope the sun agrees with us too!

Here are some pictures of our new bedroom that has just been completed and filled with a lovely new resident. The light that fill this room and the stunning views from the tower overlooking Mellifont’s grounds are just amazing. Renovation works completed by Abbey Care and dressed by Mellifont’s interior designer.
