DEAR FACEBOOK FRIENDS - PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:

Good friends of ours have a son who has cerebral palsey and have carried out various fund raising events over the past couple of years in order to provide for important treatments. They have recently applied for an operation in the States for their son and have now received the fantastic news that he has been accepted as a good candidate!

The surgery will give their child the ability to walk with a frame and get rid of the pain he has in his legs for good which is a dream come true for them as a family, however the treatment will not come cheap and we need to get fundraising because the surgery and 4 wk intensive Physio will come to £40,000!!!!

So, I was thinking to get the ball rolling if the majority of my facebook friends could donate just £1 and then share this status on their page to their friends and then everybody does a £1 then we can get them off to a really good start without too much effort. I appreciate that some may think that this is a cheeky request but £1 is not a lot of money and the difference that can be made to this lovely young lads quality of life will be amazing.

Come on, we can call it the 'DONATE A £1 TO SAM FUND'

we had a very busy weekend in the take that cup cake kitchen .. We had a stand at the Southzone dance comp at the Mountbatten Centre .. complete sell out thanks.. and well done to all the dancers it was amazing. xx
