Hi, Hope you are all well.
I have decided that after many years of making cakes for you wonderful people, I'm calling it a day as of now.
I have a new job which I thoroughly enjoy and it takes up a lot more of my time than before, and because of this I no longer have the time to do cakes.
It has been a difficult decision, but I know it's the right one.
I'm sure that you will all understand and I'd like to thank those who have continually come back to me for cakes.. your custom was very much appreciated.
Please take care, and I have the details of someone who may be able to help you with a cake, should you require anyone. Xx

The 1st cake of 2023, a birthday cake to celebrate a joint 60th birthday.... top tier is chocolate cake, covered in milk chocolate ganache, then iced to represent the favourite hobby of the mum, and the bottom tier was vanilla sponge with strawberry jam and covered in white chocolate ganache, then iced to represent the hobby of dad...

When you get a wedding cake order, and after discussing colours and flowers, the bride gives you free reign, what trust there is in that relationship.... and I must say that I really enjoyed making this cake and matching vegan cupcakes for Natalie and Kieran, who got married yesterday.... Happy Saturday to you all. I've been pretty quiet recently and not currently able to take on orders due to having moved house but more recently, having broken my wrist. This is very frustrating to say the least as you all know how much I enjoy creating cakes for you. I need to concentrate on recovering after urgent surgery on my wrist as I have 3 very important cakes to make in August and I need to be super fit.
I also realise that prior to this I made a few cakes but haven't posted any pictures, so that will be my job for today.

Enjoy this lovely spring weather that we are currently getting and I will let you know once I am back to full fitness and able to start taking on orders again.

Today is the birthday of a little girl who is 7. She asked for a cake with Encanto as the theme with her favourite character being Dolores.
I'm very particular about cakes that depict Disney characters due to copyright, so here is my interpretation of what she wanted.... "Happy 7th birthday Betty-Blossom..... hope you have a lovely day celebrating 🎉🎉🎂

Today the last cake of the year has gone out. I would like to thank all the lovely people who have come to me this year and given me the honour of making their special celebration cakes.
