This bright, colourful Toy Story themed cake was made to celebrate the third birthday of a lovely little boy named Peter. The decoration of the two vanilla bean cakes is base on a combination of Woody’s clothes design and Andy’s wallpaper, and features a personalise Etch a Sketch and character figures. I can’t help but love it!

This pretty vintage-inspired wedding cake features handmade sugar roses and hydrangeas, royal icing pearl swags and lace panels made from soft fondant icing.

This golf lovers birthday cake was hand carved from dense chocolate mud cake, and filled with rich Belgian chocolate truffle ganache. All decorations are edible, including the personalised score cards.

With its bright yellow petals and clean white icing, this Sunflower Cake is perfect for a contemporary spring wedding. It was made for an adorable bride who LOVES yellow, and sunflowers in particular. It has three sponge tiers – inc. cherry bakewell, lemon drizzle and chocolate mud – and was accompanied by 70 iced sunflower cookie favours.

These pretty sunflower cookies were made as joint favours / place-settings for every guest at a beautiful spring wedding. The traditional sugar cookie recipe was enhanced by over 10 plump vanilla pods (I like vanilla, ok he he) and the icing was flavoured with homemade rich vanilla extract. Yum!

Based on my original 2011 Pretty in Pink design, this cake was made to celebrate the overseas marriage of a lovely couple following their return to the UK. Having fallen in love with the original design, it was made out of traditional rich fruit cake to the same petite proportions as the original. To cater for their large party of guests, the cake was also accompanied by an additional THREE large kitchen cakes, each in a different SCC flavour/filling combination; yielding an impressive 400 wedding cake portions in total!

This stylish wedding cake was made for a very special couple indeed. Featuring extra deep (5”) tiers, the hand-piped lace pattern and satin bow mimic detailing on the brides dress, while super sharp corners (built up with layers of white chocolate ganache under fondant) give a sleek understated finish.

This pretty first birthday cake is my second commission so far for beautiful baby Bella. It features her favourite character from The Hive, artistic Rubee, with icing flowers and an edible ‘Happy Birthday’ drawing from her to the birthday girl.

Based on my original pink Sundae cake, this bright blue version was recreated for a lovely group of granddaughters, who wanted something fun to celebrate the 80th birthday of their dynamic grandfather; a man who just LOVES to eat ice cream! Carved out of cherry bakewell sponge, this cake includes delicious cherry syrup and almond buttercream, and features cake-pop-style ice cream balls, a marzipan wafer, flake and bright red cherry.
