Sad day but so many happy moments to remember. I can’t thank you all enough for your support and kind words; wouldn’t have been the success it has been without you!
This collage highlights my best bits from the last 5 1/2 years; from Christmas baking on an industrial scale, winning a Great Taste Award in 2021, producing Jubilee Brownie Boxes, collaborations, orders for 2 A-list celebrities, lockdown boxes, weddings, Easter egg brownies, appearing in Vogue UK….. these are some of the highlights which I will always remember. A big thank you too to my family, Ad, Will, Martha and Daisy for your continued support with ideas, creativity, social media support, runs to the post office and delivery office, local deliveries, supply fetchers and for the supply of fresh coffee to keep me going!

With only 3 days left to order, we are reaching our final days in the kitchen. Thank you all for your lovely emails, messages and kindness, it has made the decision difficult and we hate to let you down. For those local to us, please feel free to pop down to Cholsey Show on Saturday (10th) we have a nice array of flavours available. If not local, we are open online until midnight on Saturday…. The clock is ticking, fill your freezers for autumn or just enjoy a weekend treat. Emily xx.

Our last day of Cocobolo Brownies will be Saturday 10th August. We are celebrating by having our last stall at our village show. Please come along if you’re local and say goodbye and get some freshly baked brownies to take home (or stock the freezer) to keep you going! I can’t believe there’s less than 2 weeks baking!! Website still open so get ordering whilst you can.

I don’t really know how to start this post… its starts with a beginning and ends with an end……

Cocobolo brownies was my own kitchen table creation back in 2019 and has grown into something I never would have imagined. I left my job in the NHS in late 2020.

In 2021 we won a Great Taste Award which was a great accolade for a very small business. The business has grown and changed so much in the last 5 years.

In 2022 I returned (in a very part time capacity) to the NHS and have remained there since. I will be returning full time soon into an exciting new role in nursing.

My wonderful customers have been so incredibly loyal and supportive and I genuinely can’t thank you enough for all the brownie love ❤️ From your recommendations, reviews, kind feedback and re-ordering, time and time again, Thank you 🙏.

I have made the very difficult decision to close Cocobolo Brownies from the 10th August.

Full service will remain until then - I have a wedding to cater for this weekend, ‘Thank you Teacher’ boxes and lots of summer birthdays to supply brownies for before then! We also have our final stand at the Cholsey Show on the 10th August.

Please be reassured, if you have a subscription with us, we will deliver your subscription until it ends and any gift vouchers will remain valid until their expiry date.

Thank you again for all your support. You’ve been amazing!! We couldn’t have achieved so much without you.

Lots of changes here at Cocobolo (announcement coming next week) but in the mean time, summer is finally here, which also means end of school for some!?!
I think teachers really appreciate a little thank you after all their hard work during the year. Brownies are always well received by teachers and staff rooms! We think ‘Martha’s Mix’ is a great thank you gift and has now become one of our best sellers. It contains 3 different flavours (White Chocolate Heaven, Oreo Bomb and Luscious Lotus) in a mini box with delightful colourful packaging, pom poms and sweeties.

Thank you for your last minute Father’s Day orders today. We can do a few more local deliveries (OX10/OX11/RG8) or collections on Saturday but that’s all the postals orders done for guaranteed FD delivery! I hope all the Dads enjoy ☺️.

Happy Easter! We have made our Easter brownies the centrepiece for our easter table today. I love spring flowers and they complement our lovely rich brownies beautifully. Thank you for all your Easter orders. I re-open the kitchen on Monday and orders being posted/hand-delivered on Tuesday onwards. Enjoy the break, Emily x.

With less than 2 weeks left to order your Easter brownies, now is the perfect time to make a start on organising your Easter treats! We find the Easter brownies stacked on a pretty plate and served with a good quality Vanilla Ice Cream, such as Organic Vanilla Ice Cream along with some mixed berries make the perfect (and easiest ever) dessert, especially when you have plenty to cater for. These are my mini egg brownies which feature in the Easter Bites Box, the Mixed Easter Boxes and the Easter Eggs box.
