Long post alert, but I'd love for you to take a moment to read it :)
There's always a point every August, when orders are slower and enquiries don't come through quite so quickly because everyone is in the thick of the summer holidays, that I find myself asking:
Why do people choose my business?
Not from an imposter syndrome stance. I have the belief that I produce great quality, thoughtful designs that reflect your celebration. That's backed up by 7 years of hard graft and hundreds of repeat clients.
But from a “why THIS business?” point of view.
There are hundreds of home bakers in our local area, all offering some form of cake. So if I'm questioning why people choose me, it's only right to assume that new clients are thinking about that too.
By choosing Kav Bakes Cakes, you're investing in something that will give you a great return.
Whether that's impressed guests, a grateful recipient, a happy boss, or simply a cake that makes your celebration feel that little bit more special.
Every single item that leaves my kitchen has had focused, considered and thoughtful decisions made at every stage. Nothing is rushed.
I'll always ask for invitations, party decor or other inspiration so I can get a full idea of what your setup will look like. I'll make sure colour tones work together, fonts are matched where possible and the overall design feels cohesive.
It all matters.
I take on a lot of work, but only ever up to my limit, because I want to make sure every order heads out the door with the same level of care and respect as the one before it and the one after it.
I am in no way the cheapest cake maker around, nor do I want to be.
I pride myself on using the best ingredients, but I also pour a lot back into my business to make sure I'm continuing to offer relevant, exciting and thoughtful products. I've spent thousands on tools, equipment and ingredients that allow me to create things that help make lasting memories for my clients.
If you're spending your money with me, I want you to feel that every penny was worth it.
So, if you're asking “Why Kav Bakes Cakes?”
It's because I think it's more than cake.
It's an experience, from the first message right through to the last slice being served.
I have good availability going into autumn, so if you're thinking about investing in a cake, let's have a chat.
