Say hello to Georgia, one of our dedicated Senior Support Workers at My Ability.

Georgia is passionate about creating meaningful experiences for the people she supports. Whether it’s exploring sensory rooms, enjoying days out at the park, or sharing a slice of cheese pizza, she brings warmth, positivity and genuine care to every day.

A little fun fact? Georgia has a lovely little dog called Stella, who keeps her busy outside of work too! 🐶

Our team is made up of caring, compassionate people who are committed to helping individuals live fulfilling, independent lives while creating moments that truly matter.

Hasib had a fantastic time at the park on Friday, making the most of the sunshine and enjoying lots of bubbles! ☀️🫧

There were plenty of smiles as he chased, popped, and watched the bubbles float through the air. Spending time outdoors, enjoying the fresh air, and having fun in the sunshine made for a lovely afternoon.

A simple day full of laughter, happiness, and summer fun! 😊💙

Ben had a brilliant time at mini golf today, even if he didn’t quite come out on top this time! 🤣⛳️🫣

Alongside the golf, Ben spent time practising asking questions using his talking computer, showing great confidence and determination as he developed his communication skills. It was fantastic to see him engaging so well and enjoying the process.

A fun day filled with laughter, learning, and lots of positive progress. Well done, Ben! ☺️

A lovely first meet with Ben at Etherow Park! 🦆😊

We enjoyed a walk around the park, took in the beautiful surroundings, and spent some time getting to know each other. It was a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon, with plenty of conversation and a chance to build a positive connection from the very start.

A great first meeting and the beginning of what I’m sure will be many more adventures together. 💙

Exploring the artwork, taking in the creativity, and learning more about one of the world’s most famous street artists made for a fascinating experience. It was a great opportunity to enjoy culture, spark conversations, and try something a little different.

A very enthusiastic Elorm had a fantastic time bowling today! 🎳😊

Full of energy and excitement, Elorm threw himself into the game and enjoyed every moment. It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, confidence, and enjoyment throughout the session.

Ben was really nervous about going to Flip Out, but he absolutely smashed it! 💙

Once he got there and settled in, he had the time of his life, throwing himself into the activities, having lots of fun, and enjoying every minute.

It was fantastic to see Ben push through his nerves, try something new, and come away with a huge smile on his face. Moments like these show just how much confidence can grow when we take that first step outside our comfort zone. 😊
