I want to share with you how e-bakes started. Eating home-made food was always a wonderful memory of my childhood. My mum owned a small food shop in which I spent many hours as a child-helping her to prepare food and serve costumers. I learnt that home-made food was the most delicious and was one of the ways a mother expressed love for her children. I remember after getting married I finally had m

y own oven which inspired me to start baking. I was always curious about how bakery products are made. So I began experimenting by making different types of desserts. I was so happy to realise that I could make my family a variety of cakes, puddings and bread. About ten years ago while living in Asia, I finally plucked up enough courage to start to sell my food to friends for their afternoon tea parties and as gifts for special events. I was thrilled to get positive feedback and decided that baking and making beautiful desserts would remain an important part of my life. I moved to North Wales in 2015 and spent a few years focusing on home and family.Recently my two wonderful children, Carys and Emrys are both in school so I have more time to turn my passion for making beautiful and delicious desserts into a business. I launched β€œe-bakes” - a home bakery business -on October 1st 2020. I am sure my mum would be proud that I am re-tracing her footsteps! I am still learning everyday but I am happy with the progress I have already made. It is exciting and a pleasure to be able to share my cakes and desserts with you. Yvon
