🇲🇽 I have to confess... I didn’t know much about (Day of the Dead) before I watched the movie “Coco”. I now know it’s a yearly celebration in Mexico and elsewhere, where communities come together to pray for family members or friends who have passed away. It is a celebration rather than a mourning, and is usually filled with bright and colourful decorations, altars of the deceased, food and music! The skull (calaveras) is also a traditional icon of this day.

🖤 I’m using an LED to pipe lettering onto a cookie. Once the black icing is done I quickly add purple spots using the ‘wet on wet’ technique. 🖤
