Hi, thank you for stopping by my page! I thought I’d put a personal touch on this page, so you guys can get to know where Cakes By Amara came from, and why I do what I do.
I launched Cakes By Amara back in 2014 to share my experiences with baking, and it quickly turned into something I realised I could create a business from. From starting out by making cakes for family and friend’s birthdays and baking throughout my university degree, I built up a small following via social media. Since that, Cakes By Amara has turned into a little online business that I am extremely proud of! To prove my passion for baking, I have taken it upon myself to create my own six-flavour, six-tier wedding cake in November 2019. This is a challenge I am looking forward to, and will mean I can hopefully start offering larger cakes to customers.
I absolutely love baking and decorating cakes, and this page is a way for me to do what I love, while creating cakes for the most special days of your lives. I bake from home in my spare time, and though it is challenging and tiring at times, to see a finished cake go off to a customer is worth it all. Receiving positive feedback from customers is the most rewarding thing, and to have customers return for repeat orders is simply brilliant!
My passion for baking and decorating means I put a lot of energy into creating a cake that not only looks great, but tastes amazing too! I truly believe that if a cake looks good, but tastes awful, it is not worth the money often charged. After all - you’ve gotta have your cake AND eat it - right!?
