🏎️🏁 VROOM VROOM… IT'S PIT STOP TIME! 🏁🏎️

A very special racing-themed cake for Coby-John's 2nd Birthday! ❤️🎂

This was one of TWO cakes ordered by his lovely mummy to celebrate his big day! 🥰

What makes this order extra special is that I've had the pleasure of making Coby-John's birthday cakes since he was born! 🥹❤️ It's such a lovely feeling being trusted year after year to be a little part of those precious milestones and watching my customers' little ones grow. 🥰

For this cake, we went all out with a Formula 1 pit stop theme, complete with a racing car, tiny pit crew, tyres, chequered flags and lots of handmade details! 🏎️🔧🏁

A huge thank you to his mummy for continuing to trust me with such special celebrations. It really does mean the world! ❤️

A little bit of vintage elegance for a very special 30th birthday 🤍

This 7-inch lemon drizzle cake was finished with delicate vintage-style piping, pretty piped borders and little black bows for that classic monochrome touch 🖤

A simple colour palette, but I absolutely love how elegant it looks! ✨

A little birthday surprise from Dad… 🎂💐❤️

This order started with a lovely dad wanting to surprise his daughter, who is studying here in Southampton. He ordered a chocolate overload cake for her birthday, to show he was thinking of her as he wasn't here to celebrate himself 🫶

While we were chatting about the order, he jokingly asked me, “Do you do flowers too?” 😂

Well… if there’s one thing I can’t resist, it’s making sure someone feels extra special on their birthday! 🥰

So, of course, I said yes! And what started as a cake order turned into a little birthday package of chocolate and flowers — a decadent chocolate overload cake packed with all those delicious treats, alongside a beautiful, colourful bouquet. 🎂🍫💐

Because birthdays should always feel special, especially when you’re away from home. ❤️

I absolutely loved putting this together and being a small part of Dad’s surprise for his daughter. I hope she had the most wonderful birthday and that the cake and flowers brought a huge smile to her face. 🥰✨

❄️💙 A Frozen Birthday Celebration 💙❄️
Let it go… 🎶❄️ because this Frozen-themed birthday cake was such a magical one to make! 💙

A beautiful vanilla sponge filled with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream, finished in icy blue and decorated with delicate white snowflakes, piped buttercream flowers and plenty of sparkle ✨❄️

And to go alongside the main cake, 24 matching cupcakes 🧁 — chocolate sponge topped with vanilla buttercream and decorated in the same Frozen-inspired colours, with a mixture of snowflake decorations and Frozen-themed toppers.

The Frozen toppers were supplied by the customer, and I think they worked perfectly with the cake design, bringing Elsa and Anna to life! 💙💜

I absolutely loved creating this wintery little Frozen scene and matching cupcake collection for Cece's birthday. 🥰

🍂✨ It’s not always about making cakes… ✨🍂

Sometimes it’s just lovely to step away from the cake bench and let the crafty side of me take over! 🧡🌿

I’ve been giving the front of my home a little autumn glow-up, adding wreaths, greenery and all those little seasonal touches that make me smile every time I walk through the door. 🏡🍁

I love that creativity isn’t just about cakes and bakes — it’s about making, decorating and creating things that bring a little joy into everyday life. ✨

A little autumn crafting, a little home decorating… and a whole lot of happiness! 🍂🧡

🌈🦄 A little bit of AI inspiration… and a whole lot of handmade magic! 🦄🌈

This cake was such a fun one to make! 💕 I was given an AI-generated picture as the inspiration, and I’ll be honest… it can be a little nerve-wracking when a customer asks, “Can you make this?” 😂 Especially when you’re looking at those perfect little AI creations thinking, “Hmmmm… how on earth am I going to pull that off?!” 🙈

But I do love a challenge! 💪✨

So I set about bringing it to life in my own way — three adorable capybara unicorns, a rainbow, pastel colours, and all the little details. 🌈🦄

And the best part? 🥹❤️

The customer absolutely loved it and actually preferred my handmade capybaras to the original AI picture! 🥰 That honestly meant so much to me.

Every single detail on this cake was handmade by me and completely edible — from the little capybara unicorns and their tiny flowers, to the rainbow, stars, sweets and bow. 🎂✨

AI can create some amazing ideas, but there’s something really special about taking that idea and turning it into something real, edible and completely handmade. ❤️

And I think these little capybaras might just be some of my favourite characters I’ve made! 🥹🐹🦄

A little K-Pop Demon Hunters magic for Caleb’s 5th birthday! 💙⭐️

This one was extra special as it was made for my friends’ boy, Caleb! 🥰

Inside was a delicious chocolate cake filled with Nutella and vanilla buttercream 🤎🍫

I was given an inspiration picture originally featuring lots of purples and pinks, but Mum wanted something a little more boy appropriate, so I had a play around with the colour scheme and brought in the blues, navy and silver instead. 💙🩶

I absolutely loved how it came together, especially the disco-ball details, stars and that all-important number 5! ⭐️🪩

Happy 5th Birthday, Caleb! 🎉🎂 I hope you had the best day celebrating! 💙

From 6… to 72! 🧁🤍🖤
I thought I’d share these ones because they definitely turned into a bigger order than I originally expected! 😂

A few weeks ago, I made just 6 cupcakes for this lovely lady, originally for family members who couldn’t make it to her special birthday celebrations.

She obviously liked them enough to come back and ask me to make 60 for the actual party… 🥰

Then, on the morning of the party, I got a message asking if I could make a few more — so the final number became 72 cupcakes! 😅🧁

All chocolate sponge with vanilla buttercream, finished with fondant discs featuring the birthday lady’s initial A, in a classic black, white and gold theme. 🤍🖤✨

I absolutely loved how these turned out, and it was such a pleasure making them for such a special celebration.

And I have to say… going from an order of 6 to an order of 72 has to be one of the best compliments! 🥹❤️
