🌴🦁 GENESIS WENT WILD FOR JUNGLE DAY! 🐒🐍

Genesis was transformed into a wild jungle for the day, and our residents certainly embraced the adventure! 🌿🦜 From snakes, parrots and cheeky monkeys to lions, tigers and giraffes, our home came alive with a whole host of jungle creatures! 🐯🦒

And of course, what would Jungle Day be without our very own “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”? 😱🌴

Our brave residents took on some fantastic Bushtucker Trials, including eating some rather questionable dinosaur eggs and googly eyes 🤢😂 and getting stuck into the challenge of fishing out spiders, frogs and plenty of gooey worms! 🕷️🐸🪱

There were lots of laughs, plenty of squeals and some very brave contestants! 👏😂

A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped make our Genesis Jungle Day such a wild success! 🌴❤️

We’re already wondering what adventure we’ll get up to next! 🐒🌿

Music bringing us together in the sunshine 🌞

🎶☀️ What a wonderful afternoon of music, sunshine, and smiles here at Genesis! ☀️🎶

Our fantastic singer had everyone toe tapping, hands swinging, and enjoying a good old sing-along in the beautiful sunshine. There was plenty of laughter, dancing, and wonderful memories being made as residents joined in with all their favourite tunes.

It’s afternoons like these that remind us how powerful music can be—bringing people together, lifting spirits, and creating moments of pure joy.

A huge thank you to our brilliant entertainer for another fabulous performance. We can’t wait to welcome you back again soon! 🎤💃🕺🌞❤️

🎾 Game, Set… Match! 🎾🌞

Wimbledon may have come to an end, but the tennis fun certainly hasn’t at Genesis! This morning our residents made the most of the beautiful sunshine by heading outdoors for a friendly game of bat and ball.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and a little healthy competition as everyone enjoyed keeping active and soaking up the fresh air. It’s wonderful to see our garden being used for fun activities that bring everyone together.

☀️ Summer has arrived at Genesis Care Home! 🌸🌼

Our garden has never looked more beautiful! With freshly planted pots bursting with colour, stunning hanging baskets in full bloom, and our newly extended patio area, there’s no better place for our residents to relax and soak up the sunshine.

It’s been wonderful to see everyone enjoying the warm weather, sitting outside with friends, sharing stories, cooling down with delicious ice lollies, and even treating themselves to a little afternoon tipple. 🍦🍹

Creating a beautiful outdoor space where our residents can enjoy nature, fresh air, and special moments together is so important, and seeing so many smiling faces makes it all worthwhile.

A huge thank you goes to our wonderful team member Susan and her husband for all of their hard work planting the colourful pots and hanging baskets. Your time, care and dedication have transformed our garden into a truly beautiful place for everyone to enjoy. We really appreciate everything you’ve done. 🌺💚

☀️ What a beautiful day to enjoy the great outdoors! Our residents have been making the most of the glorious sunshine, relaxing in the garden, chatting with friends, and soaking up the fresh air. 🌸🌿

With Wimbledon in full swing, we couldn’t resist getting into the spirit of things! 🍓🎾 Delicious strawberries and a refreshing glass of Pimms made for the perfect afternoon treat, bringing plenty of smiles and a real taste of summer.

Days like these create such special moments and wonderful memories. ❤️🌞

We love opening our doors to families and welcoming children into our home 💛

There’s something truly special about the joy and energy children bring — our residents absolutely light up when little ones visit. The smiles, laughter, and conversations shared between generations create such heartwarming moments for everyone.

Children are always welcome to get involved in our daily activities too — from arts and crafts to baking, games, and seasonal celebrations. It’s a wonderful way to build connections, create memories, and bring our community together.
