Hi All,

Sorry for such a period on being inactive since the birth of my son, for various reasons.

It’s been quite an adjustment, and recently I’ve been unwell but I’m back and focused and ready to pick up where I left off!

I won’t be doing Halloween treats as it’s my Wife’s 30th on Halloween but I will be announcing upcoming events, news and my Xmas offerings and taking orders for those from this week.

I’ve slowly been picking up messages so if you have messaged me recently and not had a response you will soon.

Thank you for your understanding but I’m back and ready to start baking again, thank you for your patience and I look forward to taking orders and making goodies again and excited for the Xmas build up 😊😋

For my birthday last week I got a tool for making donuts, of course I had to give it ago 😃😋

The kids loved them, I’m going to have to play more with the batter recipe though ;)

Was just like fresh sea side donuts which are my fav kind of donut 🤤 🍩

Vanilla cake made to look like tub of Mint Choc Chip Carte D’or. This was fun to make. By no means perfect, but for a first try at ever making a cake like this i was very happy with the outcome. Lots of lessons learnt for the next one

I am so happy to announce after such a long period of radio silence the arrival of our beautiful baby boy, Born on Monday morning ❤️

I will now be able to take some orders for august and will be getting back to some form of normality.

Sorry for such a long period of inactivity it’s been quite chaotic but I’m looking forward to starting this next chapter of our lives and getting back in the kitchen again :)

As I said in my earlier post I was making just a small order for Father’s Day tomorrow.

Well having not been in the kitchen for ages, God how I’ve missed it, I ran away with it a baked far too many.

With that in mind, and knowing everyone is going to be sorted for tomorrow, but if you fancied that last minute extra treat, I have 3 of these boxes available 😂

So SO sorry for the radio silence for the last few weeks!

What a few weeks they have been!

Anyone who knows me knows that I will do ANYTHING for my family, in good health or bad to the best of my abilities I will do what ever it takes, and with our baby being due very soon and my wife taking maternity leave from this week I’ve started a second job to enable my wife to be able to take a full years maternity leave, as due to my health in the past she wasn’t able to with our daughters and I feel she deserves this. Only trouble is the job is nights, so I’ve been adjusting into a new routine.

Along with this there have been a few recent ‘scares’ towards the end of the pregnancy which has meant a few busy days/weeks with many ups and downs mentally. (I’m pretty convinced baby is wanting out early 🙈)

To anyone who has messaged me recently and not had a response I will get back to you this weekend.

Luckily May and June I had very little booked in, and hadn’t planned a big Father’s Day thing this year as I’d made the decision to have a quiet one with the girls this year but will be making just a few small orders this evening.

I will be quiet still for the next few weeks and limiting bookings from now until the end of july due to the uncertainty of baby but i haven’t gone anywhere and still have my same passion for this venture and plan for things to get back to 💯 normality as soon as possible as things settle down, but should you have any enquiries from August onwards please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I am still here and looking forward to get back into the kitchen fully again.

5 Layer Naked Chocolate cake with chocolate drip and strawberries and Lindt

Vanilla and Jam with a chocolate drip with baileys and chocolates.

Loved making all of these 😋

Things have been busy today 😊

It is time to retire poor little 'Kenny' the Kenwood. He has been with me from practice to go launch and up til now. He has put up with my increased work load without any moaning and helped me come up with some beautiful creations.

So I introduce to you my new "employee" 'Kev' who will take his place, Kev has already made a couple of orders and will step in now to let Kenny have some well earned rest. 😆

I’m busy, in between parenting, baking and now as of this week back to work too🙈, coming up with new flavours and new products!

It’s my ambition to reach further and grow not only to make a business, but more importantly to support a charity. Giant 7” cookie with your choice of milk, white or dark chocolate or a mix.

Have it plain as a nice family treat, decorated with a message as a gift or go fully loaded full of chocolates or sweets or both to your design.

Available in chocolate chip or double chocolate.

Lemon blondies have been a success with brilliant feedback so it’s now time to release them 😊

So, for the next week until next weekend I will be selling them at an Introductory price of £1 a slice.

Collection or local delivery around Braintree is free, delivery outside of Braintree may incur a charge.

Up to 9 slices can fit into a postal box, can be posted 1st class for additional £3.85
