Please note we can cater for dairy and soya free but do not cater for vegan at this time. Our cakes may contain eggs and nuts. Please do advise of any allergies at booking. Candles are not supplied with orders as standard but can be available on request. When collecting your cake we highly recommend 2 people to help transport. 1 to drive and 1 to hold the cake during transportation. We would hate to see any accidental damage to your beautiful masterpiece! Following the recent outbreak of Covid10 in the UK please be aware social distancing measures are in place to keep our customers safe. On collection please ring the doorbell and step back 2 metres. This will allow us to place your cake on the porch doorstep table. Best practice hand washing is in place before handling your cake.

We had such busy birthday celebrations that we’ve only just recovered! So posting here now with my very own birthday cake! One year to go before the BIG naughty 40… Here is my 6” vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream filling, finished with a white chocolate drip and sprinkles. A quick cake that went down a real treat!

Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter Freya who didn’t want a cake and gave specific instructions for us not to sing happy birthday. So we settled on a LOL Doll cupcake board and played music whilst she blew out the candle 🥰

So here is our DAIRY FREE vanilla and chocolate flavoured cupcakes presented in the shape of a 7. Topped with pink and turquoise vanilla buttercream and themed LOL Doll toppers and sprinkles. We love that she carefully selected her own Lol Doll toppers for the board from a very long line up.

Who said you can’t have a Spiderman cake because you’re dairy free??!!! Happy 3rd birthday to my darling boy Max who specifically requested a Spiderman themed cake with a web!

Here is an 8” 3 layer DAIRY FREE vanilla sponge filled with strawberry jam and buttercream filling. Covered in red sugar paste and decorated with themed toppers. Should probably have considered cake cutting before getting too carried away with the sticky web!!! But just had too much fun with this one! Enjoy your special day my gorgeous boy xx

When a fellow baker asks you to bake their son 6 cupcakes for his 21st birthday. He didn’t want a cake only 6 cupcakes. Well we couldn’t bake just 6 for such a special birthday!!! So here’s our 12 lemon cupcakes, topped with lemon swirl frosting and decorated with handmade lego pieces. Displayed beautifully on our first ever lego cupcake board. Happy 21st Birthday Mark!

It's with a very sad and heavy heart that I regret to inform you that Mumford & Buns Cakes will temporarily close due to a health injury. This has been a very difficult decision to make after a years hard work forging the business. But we continue to pride ourselves on delivering the best quality cakes to our customers, even if this may not be by our own hand. We continue to pursue our dreams and hope to keep building our portfolio with some hobby baking in the meantime. Thanking you all for your support and custom in what has been a very strange year xx

So honoured to have been commissioned to do my cousins 18th birthday cake. After a cake consultation we agreed on this stunning black and yellow colour scheme. We think it’s got a real touch of class and elegance. First time using the new fun fonts to personalise the cake beautifully in theme.

So here is our 8” 4 layer chocolate cake, filled with kinder buttercream and coated in vanilla frosting. Topped with a chocolate ganache drip and finished with a rope border and kinder treats. Thanks to Laser Hill for creating this beautiful cake topper. Just as beautiful as our cousin. Happy 18th Birthday Ellie xx
